A collection of memorabilia of a non-commissioned officer of the Polish Army, Bolesław Pienkowski, murdered by the Russians in Katyn in 1940. The souvenirs include: 1. Nomination application for sergeant issued in the Warsaw quotation on October 27, 1922, 2. copy of the cross of valor of the former volunteer army of general Bułak-Balachowicz for fighting in the defense of Poland in 1918-1921, 3. copy of the commander's order 21st Infantry Regiment from 1923 with thanks for service and presentation for promotion, 4th copy of the service opinion from 1922, 5th copy of the 1932 air defense course, 6th copy of awarding the medal for long service in 1938, 7th ID insurance, 8. over 14 photos from various periods showing Bolesław Pienkowski. Sergeant Bolesław Pienkowski joined the newly created Polish Army on November 11, 1918, in the scout battalion. From 22 March 1919 he fought in the ranks of the 21st Infantry Regiment against Soviet Russia. After the war, he was demobilized. Re-mobilized in 1939, he was taken prisoner by Russia. He was murdered by the Russians in 1940 in the Kozelsk camp,
