A WAR MINISTRY TUNIC (OBERKOMMANDO DER WEHRMACHT)
A rare Nazi Germany War Ministry (OKW - Oberkommando der Wehrmacht) Tunic with gold collar tabs which were specially reserved for General Staff Officers assigned to the Supreme Headquarters. The War Academy and Military Attachés were further distinguished by having their litzen in gold rather than silver. The tunic is a pre-war 8-button 4-pocket type tunic with 2 patch and 2 slash pockets, real silver embroidered eagle, gold-embroidered carmine collar tabs, and General Staff shoulder boards. The tunic further features a big row of loops for a long ribbon bar, which would tell of him being a higher rank with lots of medals in WW1. Extremely rare Tunic in excellent condition.
