After a model by P. GAICHENKO (Russian, 20th cen.), depicting a Red Army signalman seated on a tree stump, writing a Morse code, with a dog lying at his feet, all atop an oval grass-like green base. GORODNITSKY PORCELAIN FACTORY, GORODNITSA. Incised factory mark on the verso. Ca. late 1930's.
