Description:
Weight = 58,0 gr. Bow with the certificate of authenticity.
Information:
Fransois Peccatte (1821-1855) – was bow master, younger brother of Dominique Peccatte. He started his apprenticeship in Mirecourt, but moved to Paris to join his Brother around 1840 year. Dominique influenced on his work, and his bows were notable for strong squared head and excellent quality. They worked together for a while, but Fransois moved to Paris in 1852 where joined J.B. Vuillaume workshop. Bows of this period looks the same as other J.B. Vuillaume's bows. He was dead in the aged of 34.
