Made by Ives, Blakeslee Company Bridgeport, CT - Circa Late 1890's Excellent Plus Original Condition Includes Glass Ice Cubes & Tools. Hygeia was the goddess of good health in Greek mythology. The ice company that bore this name used that association in their advertisement campaigns to suggest that cold fresh ice brought good health. This is the grand-daddy of all ice wagon toys!!! Collectors envy any other collector who has been able to find a splendid example of the Hygeia Ice Company's delivery wagon.
