(1901 - 1966) Swiss sculptor, painter, draftsman and printmaker. Original candid photo, 3 1/2 x 5 in. b/w, shows the artist at left with a couple, sold with an A.L.S. 'Mirsa[?] & Alberto', possibly by ANNETTE ARM GIACOMETTI, the artist's wife who often posed for her husband's work, using a familiar nickname, 1p. 4to., [n.p., n.d.], in part: '...I know we haven't written in some time...Our days have been hectic what with moving both from the studio and the home to the new headquarters...and for the holidays went to Costello to be with Buni's mother...I have sent you a copy of Aujourd'hui for there is a good article about Alberto and reproductions of both your new paintings...' Fine.
