FULGENCIO BATISTA
(1901 - 1973) Cuban soldier and corrupt dictator whose brutal regime was overthrown by Fidel Castro's revolution in 1959. Rare vintage S.P., 5 x 7 in. semigloss b/w, a dramatic chest-up view of Batista in a business suit and tie. Batista signs at bottom-right in black ink beneath a printed dedication in Spanish. The photographer also signs at the bottom-left, adding the date 'Abril 11/[19]55'. Tipped to a piece of cardstock. Fair contrast, else fine to very fine condition.
