SELLING CIDER TO INDIANS IN RHODE ISLAND, 1718
Legal writ, a bond signed by Justice of the Peace Joel Almy, 1p. 8vo., Bristol, RI, 1718, recording the names of those who have pledged fifty pounds security in the case of widow Elizabeth Head. The document orders Head to appear '...to answer to the complaint of Zacheus Pohgunnaguit, Indian, for selling to him the sd Indian more than two potts of Cyder...' Two dark marginal toned spots affect perhaps three words, else very good.
