REVOLUTIONARY WAR RECEIPT FOR BLANKETS
War-date manuscript D.S., 1p. 8 x 5 in., Hartford, Oct. 6, 1778, a receipt for seven blankets for the use of men in his company, signed by recipient Capt. John Barnard serving in 'Col'n Wyllys Regt'. Very good. Col. Samuel Wyllys commanded the 3rd Connecticut Regiment.
