IMPERIAL GERMAN 'LION'S HEAD' CAVALRY SWORD
Imperial German 'Lion's Head' cavalry sword. Blade is 31.75 in. long, long, bright, and quite clean, marked with the maker's mark of Clemen & Jung beneath one languet. The entire composite grip, lion's head, red glass 'eyes', and wire wrapping remain in excellent condition, save a small indent towards the upper part of the stirrup guard. One languet is untouched, the other is cast with crossed cavalry swords. No scabbard present. Overall very good.
