OTTO GIESEKE
(1891 - 1958) German major general, recipient of the Knight's Cross for commanding the 1st SS Polizei Schutzen Regiment. S.P., 3.5 x 5.5 in. b/w, a signed Heinrich Hoffmann photograph of Gieseke as SS-Standartenfuhrer, showing a chest-up view of the general in uniform wearing the Knight's Cross, signed at bottom in black ink. Fine.
