MARK W. CLARK
(1896 - 1984) American general, commanded the landings at Salerno and Anzio against the forces of Kesselring. Signed FDC commemorating the creation of 'Win the War' postage stamps, bearing four examples of those stamps at top-right. Signed at center in blue ink. Very good, with July 4, 1942 cancel.
