Lengthy Halachic responsa (just signature) by R. Yosef Chananya Lipa Meizlish to R. Eliyohu Marder of Dzikov.
R. Yosef Chananya Lipa Meizlish (1823-1865), was known from his youth as an exceptional Talmid Chochom and prolific author. In 1851 he was appointed as Rav of Przemysl. He was niftar at a young age, and R. Yosef Shaul Natansohn (Sho’el U’Maishiv) travelled from Lemberg for the Levayo. At the Levayo the Sho’el U’Maishiv said “לא הניח גדול כמותו”. He authored numerous seforim, most notably Pnei Yosef (Lemberg 1847).
