Novella on Bava Kamma, in stencil form published while the Rebbe was serving as Rosh Yeshiva in Beis Medrash L’Torah in Skokie, Illinois. Inscribed by the author and signed with the initials י.פ.
R. Yaakov Perlow (1930-2020), was a son of R. Nochum Mordechai of Novominsk and descended from many important Chassidic dynasties including Sokolov and Kotzk. He learned in Yeshivas R. Chaim Berlin and was renowned as an outstanding Talmid Chochom. He first served as Rosh Yeshiva in the Skokie Yeshiva and later as Rosh Yeshiva in the “Breuer’s” Yeshiva of Washington Heights. In 1976, he succeeded his father as Novominsker Rebbe and later established his own Yeshiva. Additionally he served as president of the Agudath Yisroel of America, as well as a member of the Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah.
