An early work of kabbalah on the mystical secret behind the shape of the letters, ‘attributed to Rabbi Nachunya ben HaKaneh and Rabbi Yishmael Kohen Gadol with commentary from a great kabbalist written on the side’. At the end is “Sod Shem HaMeforash”. Koritz Printing List #18 (from: Bibliographic Studies: Aryeh Tauber, Jerusalem 1932). [1], 76 leaves. Partially missing (pages 7-8, 27-33. Pages 75-76 are duplicated. Kabbalistic sketches. Printed on thick, high-quality paper. Old binding with leather spine and corners, perhaps even original, with defects. Tear on page 41. Moth holes. Stains. Overall good condition.
