Essays on the love and the virtues of the Land of Israel, by R. Mordechai Yeshua Attiah. Mexico City. 1952. 111 pp., 20.5 cm.

The author was born in Aleppo in 1898 and moved to Israel with his parents. During WWI he escaped to Syria and from 1922 became a rabbi in Mexico and preacher at the ”Rodphei Tzedek” congregation and the ”Tzedakah U’Marpe” association in Mexico City. In 1936 he moved to Israel, apparently returning to Mexico after WWII. This is one of the first Torah works published in Mexico.

Very good condition. Stained.
