Knesset Yisrael‭, ‬Slabodka‭ - ‬New York‭, ‬1932‭ - ‬with an Essay by R‭. ‬Y‭. ‬Hutner

Yarchon L’Torah Ve’Da’at, published by former students of the Slabodka Yeshiva living in America. New York. Iyar 5692 – May 1932. 32 pp., with a printed soft cover. 24 cm.

The title page reads: “First Year, issue no. 1, but no further issues were printed. The booklet is a compendium of mussar discourses, Torah novellae, a poem extolling the praises of the Yeshiva and several articles in Yiddish. Among those who contributed Chiddushei Torah was R. Yitzchak Hutner, probably his first published in America. A short time later, he immigrated to the United States where he served as Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Rabbeinu Chaim Berlin for decades.

The book is very rare.

In very good condition, with its original colored soft-cover binding.
