PHOTOGRAVURE AFTER THE EDOUARD DETAILLE PAINTING
A Gebbie & Husson Co photogravure titled "The cossacks of the imperial Russian guard" by artist Edouard Detaille. On the back is the publisher’s original leaflet describing the engravings that were part of the Triple Triumph series (including this engraving from the original painting by Edouard Detaille). The engraving is in good condition, with slight darkening and traces of age. Framed in matte. Circa 1870.
