Ketubah recording the marriage of the groom Yosef ben Yehuda Pincherle with the bride Rachel bat Yitzchak Pincherle. Ceneda, (today Vittorio Veneto), Italy, Nissan, 1774.
Handwritten on parchment, (with cut margins), decorated with multicolored vegetal decorations and rocailles typical of the period. The top of the ketubah is decorated with a large medallion containing an unusual illustration of Jonah emerging from the jaws of the fish. Only two other ketubot from Ceneda are known; one from 1781 and one from 1790.
