Large, hexagonal, gilded and stamped pomegranate-shaped spice box (perhaps made from a Torah finial). Late 19th-early 20th century, Tunisia. Very ornate, decorated with symbols of all the Temple vessels: the menorah, ark of the covenant, High Priest’s robe, incense pan, tablets of the Ten Commandments, vessel for hand-washing. 12 in all.
