May 9, 1864 letter from the overseers of the poor regarding a man, Michael Brochway was named a pauper and they are asking the town to either remove him from the town or care for him. The bottom of the letter records an update that he has been put in a house of corrections for 30 days. Is in good condition with normal creasing throughout.
