Letter dated March 28th 1863 written by an unknown soldier in the 1st Regiment Pennsylvania Reserves Cavalry. Co. L. He writes a fantastic letter about the laws of the North and how traitors should be strung up. He also feels strongly against racism and slavery and tells of conversations of attempting to convert people against slavery. he mentions how his brothers have been ordered to march to Vicksburg. Is a fantastic piece of history! Has normal discoloration and a few small repairs but is in overall very good condition. Also has the envelope to Mr. Dutter who is in the 147th Regiment, Co. E in Washington. Measures approx. 7 3/4" tall x 9 3/4" wide. You are bidding at a live sale, please read the terms and conditions. Items will be packed and shipped by our in-house shipping and shipped via USPS unless they are oversized, and they will be taken to the UPS store in Kendall Park, NJ.
