WEHRPASS FROM SS GUARD AT SACHSENHAUSEN CONCENTRATION CAMP
Rare, fine content Wehrpass, 54pp. 12mo., belonging to Johann Schussler, issued to him on May 28, 1937 at the city of Bad Mergentheim. The book bears his identity photo affixed to the second page, with his signature beneath. Born February 7, 1894, Schussler had been transferred into the Landwehr on May 28, 1937, yet was later assigned as a guard of Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp on August 15, 1944, and was sworn in the following day. According to the book's twelfth page, Schussler maintained this position for almost four months, until his release in December 10, 1944. Very good to fine condition.
