HANS-JOACHIM VON HORN
(1896 - 1994) German major general, assigned to the 7th Panzer Division as a brigade commander, until October 22, 1942, he took over the deputy command of Panzergrenadier Regiment 7. Then he switched to the command reserve of the Don Army Group to be instructed for use as division leader. On January 6, 1943, Horn was appointed deputy commander in the Don army area and a month later with the leadership of the 198th Infantry Division. Post-war T.L.S., 1p. oblong 8vo., Wiesbaden, Dec. 14, 1966 to a professor in German. Not translated, but apparently friendly content thanking the man for his letter and offering his assistance.
