JOHN GLENN AND CHARLES WALKER

Beautiful color print, 18 x 25 in., titled "T Plus 30", showing the Space Shuttle Discovery mid-launch, signed in pencil on the bottom margin by two prominent American astronauts, including: JOHN GLENN (1921 - 2016), the first American to orbit the Earth and also became the oldest man to travel in space aboard the Discovery, and CHARLES WALKER (b. 1948), the first non-government individual to fly in space, after flying on three Space Shuttle missions in 1984 and 1985 for the McDonnell Douglas Corporation. Also bears an unidentified signature in pencil, potentially another astronaut who flew aboard the Discovery at some point during its history. Very fine condition.
