CHRIS KRAFT
(1924 - 2009) NASA's first flight director, acting as such during America's first crewed spaceflight, first crewed orbital flight, and first spacewalk. His signed book: "Flight: My Life in Mission Control" (New York: Dutton), 2001. First printing, 8vo. 371pp. in pictorial dust cover. Kraft signs in black ink on the half-title page, adding the date "4/23/01". Slight damage to dust cover's top edge, else fine.
