WORLD WAR I PROPAGANDA POSTERS (3)

Good lot of three World War I propaganda posters, includes: Liberty Bonds poster, 22 x 28 in., showing a series of red, white, and blue concentric circles, with the center blue circle bearing the white text: "Buy Liberty Bonds". Trimmed, ragged right edge, two tears at top and left edges. WITH: Liberty Loan poster, 20 x 29 in., ca. 1919, issued after the close of the war, showing a smiling wounded American soldier holding three German helmets as trophies, next to the caption "And they thought we couldn't fight". The bottom bears the label "VICTORY LIBERTY LOAN", beneath the printed signature of the artist, CLYDE FORSYTHE (1885 - 1962). The bottom margin is labeled "5-CC" and the publication line of the Ketterlinus Company in Philadelphia. Various marginal tears, spots of loss at top-left and bottom-right edges, else good condition. WITH: YMCA United War Work Campaign poster, 21.25 x 28.75 in., showing a female military worker above the caption: "Back our girls over there". Stained and damp-stained at spots, tears and loss at the corners.
