(DEATH OF MANFRED VON RICHTHOFEN) MAJOR C. H. BUTLER
MAJOR C.H. BUTLER British RFC commander of 209 Squadron to which Roy Brown was attached. Major Butler sortied with Roy Brown on von Richthofen's last day, but their two groups became separated before the famous dogfight. Rare war-date signature as "Major Commanding 209 Squadron Royal Air Force", cut from a document. Fine.
