Lot of ten photographs owned and displayed by Gen. Caleb Vance Haynes. Includes: 10 x 8 in. photo of Haynes receiving the Mackay Trophy from Gen. Hap Arnold following his 1939 mercy flight to Chile; 8 x 10 in. MGM test photo for the film "Test Pilot"; a similar image showing cast members from the film; cover of "Aviation Week" with color image of the earliest B-17, annotated by Haynes; 5 x 8 in. framed image of Haynes with 1925 Sacramento Aerial Meet trophy; 10 x 8 in. photo of Haynes flying a B-17 over Wright Brothers monument at Kitty Hawk, with Wright Flyer behind, 1938; 10 x 8 in. photo of XB-17 prior to mercy flight to Chile, 1939; similar, showing Haynes with 2nd Bombardment Group Cmdr. Robert Olds; and two additional images. The glass of one frame is cracked, else very good.
