LUFTWAFFE DINING HALL SOUP BOWL AND LADLE
Heavy white porcelain soup bowl, 7 in. tall x 10 in. diameter, stamped on the bottom with the maker's stamp "Epaig" from Elbogen and the initials "Fl. U.V.", indicating its use in a Luftwaffe mess hall. Two decorative lions' heads appear in relief at opposite ends of the bowl. Tiny spots of staining in the interior, else very good to fine. SOLD WITH: Aluminum ladle, 13 in. length, stamped on the handle with a Luftwaffe eagle, the initials "Fl. U. V.", and "H.M.Z. 39". Slight wear and soiling, commensurate with use, else very good.
