DEUTSCHE JAGERSCHAFT WATER PITCHER
Enormous and most impressive lidded pewter water pitcher bearing the period engraved emblem of the Reichsbund Deutsche J�gerschaft (German Hunting Society). The impressive urn-shaped jug stands almost 17 in. tall and approx. 11 in. wide with a 30 in. circumference. The emblem of the Deutsche Jagerschaft has been engraved on one side, and is almost 3.5 in. long. The lid operates smoothly. There is an indistinct maker's mark on the bottom of the jug, which bears only a slight impression towards the rear. Overall an impressive item.
