Siddur, Radleheim 1866, miniature copy of Rabbi Yaakov Shlomo Steinfeld
Rabbi Yaakov Shlomo was one of the leaders of Agudat Israel in Vienna, and of the large pillars of the Shuf Shul Synagogue in Vienna. He saved hundreds of during the years of the holocaust. Even after living in the United States, he was in contact with the genius Michael Barr Weissmandel for the rescue of people; he was one of the leaders of the United States in the matter of saving lives, especially in rescuing Rabbi Eliezer Sussia of Skulen from Romania.
