Previews of the collection are now taking place.

A selection of major collections throughout periods of American history - from infamy to victory, from the first pitch to the last strike.  This auction will include the newly discovered Courtney Collection of rare photographs from two generations including an extensive personal album of noted World War II original photographs by John Courtney.  Rare 1920s Babe Ruth photos promoting the film "Headin' Home" by Jack Courtney.  A large selection of militaria items including helmets, uniforms, and bags.

RARE NAVY Antique Photo: USS Kentucky with Mascots: Goat and Dog on Deck
VERY RARE - Silver Gel Photo of the USS Kentucky Circa Early 1900sRare Photo of the full crew class of the USS Kentucky BB-6 laid down in Newport News in the 1890s. A battleship with the naval mascot a Black Goat on deck along with a White Dog, both front and center flanking the life ring marked " Kentucky". This extremely rare image is not found even in the library of congress collection of navel images. Estimated to be from the time of Kentucky's service in "The Great White Fleet" or as a training vessel. The photo is in very well preserved antique condition and would benefit from archival UV protective glass and acid-free matting. Image 12 x 20 inches Framed size : 23 x 15 inches
