Metal U ( Metal Urbain ) French Punk band from Paris.
Short-lived but influential band of the late seventies, one of the first to combine the drum machine with electric guitars and synthesizers. Also, the first act to release a record on the Rough Trade label, and one of the few French bands to record with John Peel.
