Indo-Persian Silver Inlaid Tabar Axe
Indo-Persian saddle axe or Tabar / Tabarzin axe with a steel shaft covered in velvet and silver wire inlaid mounts. Axe head with a broad single edge blade inlaid with floral silver wire decoration. Reverse a four sided hammer head. Probably 19th century or earlier. Size 24" L, blade 4 1/4" L
