Hook & Chain "Kusarigama" Japanese Throwing Hook
Japanese, An old example of the famous Samurai defense Hook and Chain 'Kusarigama' throwing hook fantasized as a Ninja weapon but used often by field or farm workers as a tool and for self defense. The top a thin sickle like hook with a sharp edge connected to a small wood shaft that secured an iron chain to the base with a weighted ball at the end.
