Traditional Moro Barong Sword
Philippines Archipelago, probably Mindanao, 20th century Maranao or Tausug with a wide single edged blade and sharp terminating point, silver engraved lower grip, and burl or fruit wood carved handle.
Used throughout the Philippines the Barong is a head single edged weapon popularized by the Moros or Islamized people of the southern Philippines. 23" L, blade 17" L
