Indian and Bear Bank
Made by the J. & E. Stevens Company. Cromwell, Connecticut - Circa 1890's. The Stevens Company originally marketed this toy as the Bear Hunt Bank. From a crouching position, the young Indian brave takes aim at the ferocious bear in front of him. Place your coin flat on the top of his rifle and pull the trigger. The bear's mouth opens with an inaudible groan as the coin flies into his chest, presumably killing him. Magically, the bear comes back to life with each playing of the bank.
Condition: Pristine Condition with Original Box.
