The Hook Behind Clockwork Toy
Ives, Blakeslee Company. Bridgeport, Ct. - 1880 - 17" Long. Ex - Bill Bertoia Collection. This is a beautiful and intricate early American Tin Clockwork Toy. It was sold for around $4.00 in its time (a significant amount). When operating she goes up and down and the boy runs behind her (Hooking Behind!). The toy works well. A sealant was applied to the outside of the vehicle to save the paint.
Condition: Excellent Plus Condition.
