Spider Phaeton Carriage - Cast Iron Horse Drawn Toy
Made by the Hubley Mfg. Company. Lancaster, Pa. - Ca. 1900 - 13" Long. In the spider phaeton, the driver sits back to back with the passenger. Such carriages were used by the affluent because they were expensive. Owing to their rarity, toy versions of the spider phaeton are among the most difficult to acquire.
