Trick Dog - Six Part Base, Scarce Yellow & Burgundy Base - Cast Iron Mechanical Bank
Made by the Hubley Mfg. Company. Lancaster, Pennsylvania - Circa 1900. From the Edwin Mosler Collection. When Shepard Hardware went out of business at the end of the nineteenth century, they sold the molds of several of their most popular models to other companies. Hubley greatly simplified the color palate for this bank in an effort to cut down on production costs. This is a very difficult variant to add to one's collection and the condition is very strong.
Condition: Excellent Condition.
