RSL Auction Company is pleased to present this wonderfully diverse selection of Antique Toys and Banks. Included are 350 Still Banks, many from the collections of Gary Stubbs, Frank Kidd, and Alvin Goldstein. Gary Stubbs loved cast iron building banks and collected them with passion for twenty years. There are also about 40 lots of Wood, Lead, and Bronze Patterns for both Toys and Banks. There are 48 lots of cast iron doorstops, as well as 60 lots of German and American Tin Windup and Clockwork Toys. Lastly, there are 47 lots of Cast Iron (mostly horse-drawn) Toys and 120 lots of Tin, Wood, and Cast-Iron Mechanical Banks

Made by Kyser & Rex Company. Frankford, Pennsylvania - 1880's. Two boys have discovered a watermelon patch in a neighbor's yard. A guard dog is sleeping in his doghouse rather than watching over the crop in front of him. The boy on his stomach inches forward, hoping to grab a melon before the dog wakes up. However, when the operating lever is pressed, the boy's hand reaches downward, but the dog jumps out at him.Please Note: The Boys Arm Reaching For A Watermelon is Repaintd.
