Rare Red Goose Shoes Advertising Radiator Caps
Made by Arcade Mfg. Company for the Friedman Shelby Shoe Co. Freeport, Illinois - Circa Late 1920's. Car mascot radiator caps were popular in the 1920's and 1930's. These two examples were made by the toy maker Arcade Manufacturing as a commission for Red Goose Shoes, a St. Louis based company owned by the family of Edith Barenholtz. Only two of the boxed group of six radiator caps remain, but they are beautiful condition.
Condition: Near Mint with Original Box.
