Gebruder Marklin "La Plata" Four Funnel Ocean Line
German - 1905 - 39" L This impressive boat is about 80 - 90% professionally restored. All parts appear to be original and original paint is detected using UV light. This is a rare live-steam version of the toy (hence, why it needed restoration). It is considered the second largest boat produced by Marklin. A similar, but all original example sold for in excess of $250,000 a few years back. A chance to add a mantle piece and true show stopper to the collection! Very Fine (See Description)
