Qing Dynasty Grand Council Revolution Era Document
Historical Chinese archive document written for the Qing Dynasty Grand Council containing telegraph transcriptions regarding the progress of the Xinhai Revolution during 1911. Eventually, the 1911 Revolution would culminate in the conclusion of China's final imperial dynasty, beginning the Early Republican Era. The document is bound with side stitch or stab binding, a traditional and practical form of bookmaking typical of archival documents from the Asian continent.
Height: 11 in x width: 8 1/2 in x depth: 1/2 in.
Condition: There are no major visible losses or missing pages. There is toning throughout. Wear including light creases and handling marks along the edges throughout. There is a tear along the back cover near the spine of the book.
