Chinese Ming Dynasty Ceramic Hu Vase Ex. Museum
Chinese Ming dynasty ceramic hu vase. With two small handles extending from the upper rim to the high shoulder. With an iron-rich ash glaze, iron-clay body, and fired in a wood kiln. With a National Museum of the Philippines label affixed to the underside.
Height: 6 1/4 in x width: 4 1/4 in.
Condition: There are no major visible cracks, losses, or restorations. There are several minute firing flaws throughout the body of the vase, primarily along the lower third. Light wear along the footrim. Light dust gathered along the interior.
