Milo Baughman for Coggin MCM Recliner & Ottoman
Milo Baughman (American, 1923-2003) for Thayer Coggin, United States. Mid-century modern recliner chair similar to "Tighten Up", "Recliner 74", and "Viceroy" models; solid natural walnut wooden frame and black leather upholstery. With matching ottoman or foot rest. There is a Thayer Coggin label along the underside of the recliner seat.
(Chair) height: 38 1/2 in x width: 28 1/2 in x depth: 31 in. (Ottoman) height: 13 1/2 in x width: 20 in x depth: 21 in.
Condition: Both the chair and ottoman are structurally sound and stable. Some areas of wear to the leather including scuffs, a few tear, and some punctures mainly around the corners and edges. Wear to the wooden frames including scuffs, scratches, small dents and discoloration. Dust gathered in the recessed areas. The ottoman lifts and holds. The lever of the chair works and the chair reclines. Along the underside of the seat cushion, there are some accretions.
