Set 4 Sol Y Luna Chairs Dan Johnson Brown Jordan
Dan Johnson (1918-1979) for Brown Jordan, United States. Set of four "Sol Y Luna" lounge chairs with arms. Cast aluminum with a textured finish. Three marked with labels along the frame. Originally dubbed "Gazelle, " the original production in 1954 only produced around 150 pieces. Now produced in cast aluminum rather than bronze and wood, the "Sol Y Luna" takes a new approach to Johnson's timeless Mid-century design.
Each, height: 27 in x width: 28 in x depth: 24 in.
Condition: All items are structurally sound and stable. There is some wear throughout including areas where the finish has rubbed away and the silver aluminum is visible (mostly along high touch points). One of the chairs is lacking the original sticker along the frame. Some light dirt/dust gathered in the recessed areas.
