Eduardo Vilches (Chilean, b. 1932). Group of two woodcuts on paper depicting simplified designs in black and white.
One titled "The King and Queen, " pencil signed along the lower right; titled along the lower center; numbered illegibly along the lower left.
The other titled "The Lock, " which has been framed vertically rather than horizontally. Pencil signed along the upper right; titled along the right center; numbered illegibly along the lower right.

(Vertical) Sight; height: 19 3/4 in x width: 13 3/4 in. Framed; height: 28 3/4 in x width: 22 3/4 in. (Horizontal) Sight; height: 13 3/4 in x width: 19 3/4 in. Framed; height: 23 1/4 in x width: 28 3/4 in.
Condition: Colors are bold and deep. For both prints the sheet is slightly toned. There is light undulation to the sheets. There are some minute spots of foxing throughout. Regarding the print oriented in portrait, There are networks of creasing extending vertically from the upper-right edge to the lower right-edge. Regarding the print oriented horizontally, there is evidence of transfer on the plexiglass above the image. The prints are framed under plexiglass. Wear to the frame and mat board. Not inspected out of frame. The frames have sticky accretions throughout the edges.
