18th c. Chinese Huanghuali Lamp Hanger Side Chair
One late 18th century very fine huanghuali Chinese lamp hanger chair with basket seat. The chair is of the classic form, the back made of two side supports that become legs and a single undecorated slat that terminates at the top into the shaped neck support. The basket weave seat is not original, likely a 19th century replacement. The legs are supported by double stretchers.
